At Campbell Construction Co we believe that our local community is the real foundation of our business. We’re thrilled to have partnered up with these sporting clubs and charities to help support them grow and flourish.
A few years ago we decided that we wanted to give back to the communities that we build in and are a part of, and as mad footy fans, we were immediately drawn to sports clubs. The positive affects of this have been numerous and multidimensional and we have loved every moment of being a sponsor.
See below to see how we have been giving back and supporting these clubs and charities.
Based in Tweed Heads NSW, and playing in both the NSWRL and QRL Cup Competitions, the Tweed Head Seagulls welcomed Campbell Construction Co as naming rights sponsor in 2018.
Be it through direct financial donations or putting on Family Fun Days, we are very proud to be affiliated with this organisation which has a passionate CEO and board, experienced coaching staff and team of professionals behind the club steering them in the right direction.
Exciting times are ahead for the Tweed Heads Seagulls RLFC after being successful in their application for a $300,000 sporting grant and fielding the clubs first ever women’s rugby league team in 2019.
Campbell Construction Co will be with them every step of the way. Go Seagulls!
The Kawana SLSC is home to one of the longest open beaches on the Sunshine Coast. Kawana beach can experience dangerous rips, sweeps and rough conditions because of its exposed nature. Conditions can change in seconds. So its very important to teach children the necessary skills to be safe at the beach and ensure they swim between the flags.
In February 2020 the Kawana SLSC Nippers had a Junior team heading to New Zealand to compete in the Oceans’ 20 event. We are proud to Sponsor this team, which will build knowledge and experiences in the Junior Surf Program and develop leadership, camaraderie, teamwork and fun for those attending.
Campbell Construction Co are also proud to sponsor the Kawana Carols by the Beach, which raises funds for the Kawana SLSC Nippers. This is fast becoming a popular event for many Sunshine Coast residents, we look forward to supporting again this year!
RACQ LifeFlight Rescue has made a difference to the lives of thousands of Queenslanders, having flown more than 56,000 critical rescue missions since 1979. Each day, RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crews treat seriously ill and critically injured patients. The ten iconic blue and yellow helicopters are based in five locations around Queensland; Mount Isa, Toowoomba, Bundaberg, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.
In 2019 Campbell Construction Co raised $2000 for RACQ Lifelight Rescue as part of our team building and Christmas celebration. Since then our support for this important cause has grown. In 2020 our team joined their Run to Rescue campaign and most recently we signed a corporate partnership to support the vital refurbishment of the Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter base. The partnership safeguards the upgrade of the facility, and to show gratitude of their contribution and donations to the works being undertaken, Campbell Construction Co will have a recognition tile placed on RACQ LifeFlight Rescue’s ‘Wall of Appreciation’.
In 2020, Campbell Construction Co. made a significant contribution to the Kawana Aquatic Centre, with the design and installation of a shade/shelter structure.
The project was managed from start to finish with design, Council consultation, engineering, building approval and construction. The initial brief was to create a shade structure for the Southern end of the 50m pool. Upon site inspection and consultation with the client we opted for a steel framed and insulated roof structure, giving the structure both longevity and functionality.
We took the initiative to future proof the project for the client in the event of future funding and provide a provision in the construction and engineering to continue the roofing in the opposite direction. Upon completion of the project the pool and community users now have a shade and weather structure to the entire Southern end of the 50m pool, protecting them from the elements all year round.
