We care – about our community

At Campbell Construction Co we believe that our local community is the real foundation of our business. We’re thrilled to have partnered up with these sporting clubs and charities to help support them grow and flourish.

A few years ago we decided that we wanted to give back to the communities that we build in and are a part of, and as mad footy fans, we were immediately drawn to sports clubs. The positive effects of this have been numerous and multidimensional and we have loved every moment of being a sponsor.

See below to see how we have been giving back and supporting these clubs and charities.

Mooloolaba Surf Lifesaving Club

We are proud to be sponsoring the Mooloolaba Surf Lifesaving Club, a vital organisation within our Sunshine Coast Community.

Established in 1922, The Mooloolaba Surf Lifesaving Club has grown to become one of the premier Surf Lifesaving Clubs in Australia. As a non for profit organisation, the Surf Lifesaving Club relies heavily on sponsorship and volunteers to deliver their ‘lifesaving’ service to our community.

A special congratulations to the U19 Men’s team who competed in the Australian National Titles and won gold in one of our Campbell Construction Co branded boats.

Broncos Community Game Development Program

Established in 2016, the Broncos community-based initiative visits approximately 50 schools annually, supports Sunshine Coast Junior Rugby League Clubs, hosts regular holiday clinics and works with SunnyKids as part of the ‘Mentoring Through Sports’ programs conducted each year.

The annual program is gaining interest from schools and instil valuable life skills and respect within our younger generations.

We are proud to be a major sponsor of the Broncos Community Game Development Program in collaboration with The Surf Club Mooloolaba and SunnyKids to provide children the opportunity to develop and grow their love of sports.

Kawana Aquatic Centre

In 2020, Campbell Construction Co. made a significant contribution to the Kawana Aquatic Centre, with the design and installation of a shade/shelter structure.

The project was managed from start to finish with design, Council consultation, engineering, building approval and construction. The initial brief was to create a shade structure for the Southern end of the 50m pool. Upon site inspection and consultation with the client we opted for a steel framed and insulated roof structure, giving the structure both longevity and functionality.

We took the initiative to future proof the project for the client in the event of future funding and provide a provision in the construction and engineering to continue the roofing in the opposite direction. Upon completion of the project the pool and community users now have a shade and weather structure to the entire Southern end of the 50m pool, protecting them from the elements all year round.
