This weekend the Ben Campbell Building Group Tweed Heads Seagulls play their final round of the season with a definite spot in the finals of the Intrust Super Cup. This will be the club’s first finals appearance since 2014.

We are very excited and proud of the team and the clubs efforts this season. It is fantastic to see the growth of the whole organisation and their efforts to build the club over the past few years.

“To get to the finals is a huge achievement when you think we narrowly avoided the wooden spoon only two season’s ago.”

For the second year we are teaming up with other club sponsors holding a Family Fun Day for this weekend’s home game at Pigabeen, encouraging all the fans to come and cheer on the team and help celebrate their successful season.

“The club and Ben Campbell really wanted to do something for our fans to thank them for their support through this season,” Seagulls CEO Paul Stephenson said.

There will be a bouncy castle, face painting, local police and rescue vehicles to check out, giveaways, a $250 kick for cash, plus more fun to be had! The first 50 people to register for the day will receive a goodie bag with over $40 of goodies from the sponsors.

Register here now to be one of the first 50 people attending to claim your goodie bag!

“We have quite a few of our team attending the game to support the club and enjoy the afternoon out at the footy, it should be a fantastic arvo for the family. A day at the local footy has been part of my weekends many times in the past.” said Ben Campbell.

Gates open at 1 pm with the Hastings Deering Colts kicking off at 2.20 pm and the Intrust Super Cup match against the Northern Pride taking to the field at 4 pm. We’d love to see you all there!
