Brisbane Broncos Sunshine Coast Community Game Development Program is hitting the ground running, with former player, Jack Reed, at the helm to make 2022 the program’s biggest year yet.

Helping Mr Reed to inspire Sunshine Coast youth, is newly signed sponsors, Campbell Construction Co, as the company continues to expand its interests in supporting local community groups and organisations that align with their own personal values.

Campbell Construction Co owner, Ben Campbell, says he and his wife, Sara, are passionate about being involved in activities that support youth and family.

“We are extremely proud to be able to support our local Sunshine Coast community and being involved in the Broncos Community Game Development Program aligns well with not only the company but also us as a family.

“Having always been involved with football, I enjoy the camaraderie and mateship provided from participating in a team sport. This program goes beyond Rugby League, it encourages students to be active, healthy people, both mentally and physically as well as dealing with life’s setbacks and distractions,” shared Mr Campbell.

Established in 2016, the Broncos community-based initiative visits approximately 50 schools annually, supports Sunshine Coast Junior Rugby League Clubs, hosts regular holiday clinics, works with SunnyKids as part of the ‘Mentoring Through Sports’ programs conducted throughout the year and thanks to major partner, The Surf Club Mooloolaba, Mr Reed is also able to facilitate specific community programs such as the annual ‘Bronco on the Beach’.

The program is gaining interest each year to help foster valuable life skills and respect within our younger generations. Backing from local businesses such as Campbell Construction Co and The Surf Club Mooloolaba allows for the program to grow, reach more of our youth and give back to Sunshine Coast charities.
